Business Development Representative

Job Summary:

The Business Development Representative (BDR) will be responsible for coordinated outreach, prospecting, outbound calls and following up on marketing campaigns. They will utilize a series of playbooks for specific healthcare and life science targets.  The BDR will be results driven, have quota experience and will be unintimidated by cold outbound calling and emailing.   Quick ramp expected.


Essential Functions:
  • Secure prospect discovery meetings. Build early-stage pipeline through outbound communication 
  • Consistently maintain call & email volume targets – qualify need/interest 
  • Set appointments/meetings; manage cancellation rates and call quality metrics 
  • Identify contacts and key information within targeted accounts through research 
  • Articulate the value proposition of solutions and products 
  • Collaborate with Business Development leadership 
  • Support Sales team with sales campaigns and meeting quota goals 
  • Update Salesforce with outreach activities


  • Min. 1-2 years of Sales and/or Sales Development experience; prospecting / cold calling 
  • Experience selling technology solutions within the healthcare industry preferred 
  • Candidates should have payer, provider, and/or life sciences experience
  • Responsible for achieving outbound call and meeting targets set by management 
  • Excellent organization and time management skills 
  • Strong communication and presentation (virtual) skills 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo 
Minimum Education Required:

Bachelor’s Degree required in related field.
